Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a sucker for seeds. Lots and lots o’ seeds. And one of my favorite suppliers of seeds is a small heirloom house called Baker Creek, headed by Jere Gettle and his wife, Emilee. We are putting up a hoop style greenhouse this year.Out of all the seed companies Baker Creek is the best.We here in Missouri are proud and grateful for them.We would like to grow the amazon chocolate tomatoes.A friend served them at a barbecue last year and they were scrumptious.

We had some purple hull pink eye peas ordered from Baker Creek last year and they were super hardy in our climate, the kids LOVED the colorful pods, and it was always a fight to see who would shell the peas for supper that evening! Growing em again this year and planting enough to put up for the winter!
We are trying the Hssiao His Hung Shih tomato for the first time and looking forward to it. [I think we got our first OrangeGlo seeds from Baker Creek some years back and still love it. Plus the long beans… Crown and Triamble winter squashes… etc]
