My first book, The CSA Cookbook, is slated to release on February 16. (I shared a sneak peek of it recently!)
Can you believe it’s been one year in the making? Nope, neither can I, even though I feel like I’ve been saying It’s coming! It’s coming! for soooo long now. It’s exciting stuff, and I’ve been bowled over by all the kind comments and emails of encouragement from readers near and far.
Now, it’s really coming. And as a show of thanks for your immense support and incredible patience, I have three copies of my book to give away to three lucky winners this week!
These are advance copies from the publisher, and they’re special because there aren’t that many advance copies floating around. I have one, my editor has one, the marketing team has one… the rest are boxed up on a boat as I type this, making their way across the Pacific to the publisher’s warehouse.
That leaves just three copies remaining, and I want them to go to you. My hope is that you’ll enjoy the book, make a few recipes from it, and leave an honest review on Amazon (or your preferred book review site) when it releases.
Since the books will ship directly from the publisher, I won’t be able to personally sign them but I’ll include a signed bookplate, which you can adhere to the inside of your copy. And who knows, maybe I’ll see you at one of my book events this year for an in-person signing?!
If you’ve already preordered a book, you’re still welcome to enter. You can send a book to a loved one as a surprise!
This giveaway is open to all readers in all countries. Thanks for making my world go ’round.
How to enter: I had a blast writing this book and would love to do another! What do you think my next book should be about? Give me your suggestion below to be entered for this giveaway. Update: A big thanks to everyone who entered!
This giveaway is now closed. The winners are Kelly from Oregon, Mandy from California, and Teresa from Texas.
Since your book is Garden Centered it would be nice to see a book on easy to prepared meals using sustainable meats that are made for two people.given the rise of empty nester homes and younger couples putting off children this would help them save time and money. For many paring down the recipe for only two people is difficult. I think you would have a great audience in this area.

There’s definitely a need for cookbooks catering to smaller households. I’ll keep this in mind and please also post this comment under the original post to enter the giveaway!
A book on growing your own food in your backyard and eating what you harvest.

Self sustaining gardening, unusual edibles, heirloom foods – growing and harvesting, cooking and saving seeds to replant, combine it all into a living off your own land kinda book. ???
My Instagram is unclaur!
And for your next book, I’d like to learn more about how to raise chickens in all types of environments: rural, farm, and even cities!
Hi Linda, we would be happy if your next book is about growing vegetables – pestcontrol / permaculture etc. Best wishes from a Kenyan farmer who loves your blogs 🙂
Really looking forward to your new book!
I can’t wait for your book! I think you should write a whole book on Chicken Keeping for your next one, I use your info so much to care for mine!
I am so excited about your book. We get a grab bag of food each week from the local coop from a farm in Wharton Texas. I love the ideas of chicken and travel. I would love to see a book about seasonal recipes based on what becomes ready to eat each season : )
If not the road trip, then the chickens! I know that chickens are not the easiest animal to take care of despite what people think. Talk about chickens and farm life, and then some egg recipes!
Your next book should be about road tripping! Some insight and inspiration for those of us with wanderlust!

I would love to read a book about backyard gardening/gardening in small spaces. I’m fascinated by all the work you do in your own gardens, and I’d love to learn how to apply it to my own space.
I follow you on Instagram- ToesandTomatoes. Kelly G. 🙂 Would love to win!!! 🙂
I think your next book should be about gardening!! All of your beautiful plants, starting seeds, tending to your yard, and trying new plants.
I love how you explain your gardening techniques. That would be a fun book, especially with a chapter or two on seed saving.
California gardening–what to plant and when, with water considerations/strategies
I love gardening books and your blog tips made into a gardening book would be really exciting.
I follow you on Insta too 🙂

I’d love to see another CSA or Farmer’s Market book!
I would totally dig a backyard garden/chickens book. Congrats on your upcoming cookbook!
I think your next book should definitely be about backyard gardening! Thanks. I thoroughly enjoy your blog!
Love your blog! I would also read a book about your adventures – hints for travel/hiking and all.
How about a book about your travels? I love reading about your adventures in Mexico and elsewhere.
I think a combination book about Chickens and small gardens would be great. Or you could try a book on living your best life w/ recipes and gardening tips as well as travel adventures – you do it so well in your blog!
Keeping with the chicken idea how about a cook book dedicated to farm fresh eggs. As we who keep chickens know some days you will have extra eggs so a cook book on how to make them even more delicious than they are already would be a great Idea.
Your next book needs to be about chicken keeping. 🙂
My first thought was your gardening techniques, but a topic with *much* more need to it is keeping chickens!
About permaculture!
I’m always interested in the exotic ingredients you use due to the different climate you live in (I’m from Michigan). Although I can’t grow many of the fruits and veggies I hear about on your blog, I’d enjoy reading a book about such things.
Gardening. You try so many varieties that I haven’t tried. I think it would be interesting with a picture a week concept and your notes as your garden grows over a year’s time.
Raising chickens?
Maybe a book of gardening tricks and secrets, or how to garden with limited time.
Herbs and medicinal uses and the history of each herb
Fermentation
How about a gardening book!
So very excited for you Linda, and for us! 🙂 Off the top of my head, would you consider a book about your back woods, off the grid, favorite places to visit? I know that could run the risk of making them more traveled and rob some of the privacy of some and that that is a huge part of what makes them special to you, but it would sure be a valuable resource to like-minded folks. If I was still living in CA, I’d LOVE to have a book recommending wonderful places to visit that I had no knowledge of and that were sort of secret cool, ya know? Again, this is off the top of my head. Again, congrats on the libro and I cannot wait to read it. Of course, my copy will need to autographed! 🙂 Hugs!!!
Looks like a beautiful and informative book. would love a copy.
Good luck in the giveaway!
